What To Wear?... what a pony should wear in a trailer/ horsebox.
If you go to a show you will need to take your horse with you. But what does he need to wear to ensure safe travelling? Read this site to find out!
And, as I've said before you can buy all this and more online at the Robisons Catalogue, see Favourite Links for more details!

Headcollar
This ensures easy loading and it's something to clip the lead rope to!
When travelling you need a poll guard. Or you could use the next best thing- a sponge threaded through the horses headcollar. The poll guard is very important- if your horse knocks his head while travelling it could kill him.

Leadrope
The leadrope allows you to load your horse into the box and also to tie him up when he's inside.

Rug
You need a rug and rolling. The horse needs padding on the withers and a breatgirth to keep the roller in place. Once again padding on the withers is VERY important!
Also your horse will need a tail bandage with a tail guard on top- this will stop the horse's dock bone getting damaged.

Travel Boots
Your horse can either wear full- length travelling boots or knee and hock boots with bandages over padding such as Gamgee.

Over- reach boots
Not really much I can write, they're just over- reach boots!
