What to Wear?... At a gymkhana.
So, you've helped at the stables and you've had your riding lessons. You're all ready for your first gymkhana, but you don't know what to wear!

A hacking jacket.
A hacking jacket helps to make your apperence a whole lot neater, should add a few points to your score!

Jockey skull cap or riding hat
You can either wear a jockey skull cap or a riding hat at a gymkhana. If you do wear a jockey skull cap though remember to buy a hat silk!

A tie
A tie is another thing that helps to tidy up your apperence. You can buy ready tied ones or ones you need to tie yourself.

Show shirt
At a gymkhana you can either wear a show shirt or a normal school shirt, it's up to you.

Gloves
A good pair of gloves can make you look neater but also they help you keep a firm grip on your reins! |

Light-coloured jodhpurs.
It's best to wear cream jodhpurs at a gymkhana because they look neater. Keep in mind though that mud will show up much more eaisly on this jodhpurs!

Jodhpur boots.
You can wear riding boots as well.
